Most people associate the Wuhou Shrine with the storied rivalries of the Three Kingdoms. Yet this special exhibition, Ode to the Shu Capital (Shu Du Fu), carries us back to Yi Province (Yizhou) during the Han and Jin dynasties. Bringing together treasured artifacts from 12 cultural and museum institutions across Sichuan and Chongqing, the exhibition unfolds the landscape and everyday life of the ancient Shu capital through three lenses, Yang Xiong, Zhuge Liang, and Zuo Si, and along three dimensions: local belonging, governance, and historical imagination
